It's interesting to see which lines are closed/which ones aren't. In the above picture I actually went in and closed off some lines for the sake of flood fill.

flood fill
I started to play around with drawing in pencil tool (or scanning in grayscale and converting to bitmap) and then floodfill and see what happens. First two are scanned sketches, the second two are photoshop.
It's interesting to see which lines are closed/which ones aren't. In the above picture I actually went in and closed off some lines for the sake of flood fill.
