I guess I will do something like a Director's Cut? Thoughts about the scene, I guess lots of spoilers for my character's stories as well, but whatever, hehe.
Introduction --> Instrumental part??
It features Kit Elroy, Maris and Jie's younger half-brother... his job is freelance journalist/amateur author? I decided that he writes about his siblings lives (and other fictional stories which are basically my stories LOLLL). More cut scenes to his writing tools maybe?? I guess I opened with this scene because he's the "creator".
Sky + Lens flare LOL
Something transitioning? From the "real world" (Kit's "real world") to fiction world... I want to do some scenic shots of the city of Arydan, because of the first featured ocs! But I put in sky because it's easy to put as a placeholder.
I mentioned that the lyrics go with each character, so I'll go through each line one by one, XD. I imagine that the lyrics go with the protagonist's thoughts...
1st Pair, Nioclas & Caelan. (Caelan is the protag).
"It's good to see the sun and feel this place,"
A view looking down at the streets of Arydan with a festival going on. The city is supposed to be a port city and very cultural (also has a lot of high-class brothels LOL), in any case, Caelan is a visitor to the city because of his duty as a knight to the Matarin Prince (they are staying at the Arydan Castle)... Matarin is very rigid and not colorful?? So being in Arydan is a culture shock for Caelan.
"This place I never thought would feel like home."
Caelan never expected to find his true love (HAHA CHEESE) in Arydan with the crown prince, but he does, and in his story he learns how to be more accepting of other cultures?? Initially he's the kind of character that is very stubborn and unwilling to adapt to a different lifestyle (nor is he very accepting), but then he overcomes this. Eventually he becomes comfortable living here, to the point of calling it home. HOME IS WHERE IS HEART IS LSAHDSLGKFJD HAHAHHAH.
2nd Pair, Anton & Day (Anton is protag, this is a side story to Caelan's story)
DRAMA happens with the Matarin royal family during Caelan's story... in the very end, Anton (the crown prince of Matarin) chooses to willingly exile himself when his half brother assumes the throne. Anton is often misunderstood to be the "bad guy" and he's had to make a lot of bad choices because they were better than the worse choices. Actually... he's not really misunderstood because he chooses to look like a "bad guy" on purpose, I haven't rly figured it out yet. His mind is complicated... Anyways, when he's exiled he chooses to live in Arydan in one of the merchant/shop areas as a clockworker (or book keeper or something like that). Day is a high-class prostitute, and he is actually a close friend of Caelan because he was the one who "opened Caelan's eyes" to be more accepting. ANYWAYS, for the longest time these two end up having a non-relationship (that is clearly a relationship but they just don't label it ever).

Essentially Anton's self-exile is also him running away from having to deal with his family back in Matarin..
"I always thought I'd end up here alone."
He resigned himself to a life of solitude in Arydan, but when he met Day... well, Day keeps visiting Anton's shop all the time.
3rd Pair, Soren & Timin (Soren protag; Timin is a friend's character)
Transition from fantasy land to AOH world! Actually I love Soren in Maris-Jie-world more than AoH (and pretend that Timin is there too), but I also like his AoH story of constantly wandering around and then coming back home to his loveeee.
"Somehow the world has changed me. I've come home,
To give back the things they took from you."
Actually Soren travels the world because he wants to meet up with his wandering father (who really loves Soren but also work gets in the way so Soren grew up without him). When Soren travels himself (after AoH) he learns a lot about himself and his powers and idk his worldliness. And then he comes back home to Timin. Not really sure what "to give back the things" would possibly be... maybe the time that they could have spent together? I imagine Soren is gone for a long time...
4th Pair, Lukas & Henri (Henri protag, he's the violinist with dark hair)
Henri and Lukas... they existed shortly after NioCae story (in terms of when I created them). They are a little special to me? Music academy boys but in like... 1910s fake!!!Austria... (not sure about time period). That's why it's transitioned from pseudo-fantasy/historicalish to this time period.
The world is actually supposed to be centered around early flats/apartments and how gardens come into play with like garden courtyards and lighting (LMAO THIS WAS ME DAYDREAMING IN ARCHITECTURE HISTORY OK). Henri comes to stay as a foreign exchange student at Prague. I admit I am also thinking of Nodame while making this story, lololol. Anyways Lukas is the younger cousin of his landlord who is also staying at the apt complex and then they go to school together, though Lukas isn't a music major he's something else...
T...hey get in a relationship too but I forgot why. I guess their theme/trope/cliche is that they are 2 unlikely types of people to get together but they do, HAHA cuz Lukas is really well known in his school and Henri is the very quiet/keeps to himself foreign student.

I guess Henri is not alone? XD.
5th Pair, Jake & Pierce (Jake is protag Pierce is the ghost!)
They are not exactly a romantic pair, but I think they definitely have strong feelings/bonds for each other. Jake is a grad student who moved overseas because he doesn't want to deal with his family at home... one day he finds out that he can see this ghost that no one else can. As for the reason why Pierce is a ghost... the story is a bit of a play on Beauty & The Beast... when Pierce was alive he was a very promiscuous rake so then he dies and his "curse" is that he's to be a ghost until he learns something?? But at first no one can see his ghostly form so he wanders the earth alone until he eventually meets Jake. They aren't a romantic pair because in the end, Pierce moves on to the afterlife (even though they both feel a lot towards each other).

I guess since Jake has to deal with "loss", the loss of a good friend/partner... in the end he Pierce will always be in his heart.
6th Pair, Storm & Knight (OBVIOUSLY K is protag because he's mine aksdjfs)
I feel like I don't have to explain these guys because I shove them in ppls face all the time. They are next because the lyrics are fitting, but also because Jake & Pierce was a mix of modern day with a 19th century ghost... K & S exist in modern day Muggle London?

Knight's feelings.
Sometimes it's got to hurt before you feel,"
WELL the story goes... K and S don't get together officially until a dramatic event with S's nemesis, Massey, who basically wants K to himself to the point that he will hurt S to get it (good thing S hurts Massey/gets him expelled HAHA). In any case, I think that for these two, they get together but it also took a while.
7th Pair, Coriander + Basil (Cori protag)
The Grey siblings! Don't know what the age difference is... I guess Basil must be much older? Anyways, Coriander is from London... I like to pretend that she has an apartment where she can see K & S when they pass through the streets (lmao interconnecting characters). Basil actually lives and works in America, so they have to skype with each other.
"But now I'm strong and I won't kneel,"
I guess like... Cori lives by herself and then even goes to live at LoX headquarters... and she has strong character? She's independent.

8th Pair, James & Kelly, basil in BG ((Kelly protag))
I already mentioned James & Kelly in previous post. Basil is the only English one at his workplace, James and Kelly are both American. Probably TX? It occurred to me that I don't really have a character set in "America" but it's where I've lived all my life... so at least with these contemporary guys they should be in America. But maybe a pretend TX where there is very little homophobia AHHAHA my ideal texas.

Not sure how these lyrics fit in, but I guess for Kelly he unexpectedly becomes someone that loves James. HAHA, this is a case of trying to make the lyrics fit in. For these two I don't really have a story, so yeahhh.
9th Pair???, Jie + Clover&Solus (JIE CENTRIC)
Ok well I just thought it would transition well, and Jie is a badass who deserves her own solo part in the video. Clover is there because he is her closest friend and then Solus is hanging out there too, because she approves of Clover/Solus T 3T.
I can't really think of how the lyrics match up (they don't really LOL), or how the timing goes for her, T 3T.

As for the actual pictures, Jie as a bartender giving Solus and Clover drinks.

And then the pan to the picture frames, which is supposed to show the Elroy family (and also a picture of teen!Jie?), idk just like her character history, and then the top framed picture transitions to...
10th Pair, Maris + ?????? (Maris obv)
Maris has the longest feature in this video, esp cuz he has the bridge of the song HAHA but I love him so much so my bias shows. This plays along with the story idea for Maris with Wes, his dead lover.

Kind of emo/introspective, Maris is at Wes's grave hahhhh.

Like saying goodbye to an old lover with a new one (who is nameless, and who is this guy anyways??? jsut a random guy maybe??)

WES IS IN THE SKY HE's SCORPIOOOO maris you will never not know where he is! Lmao a lazy scorpio constellation because I cbf to do a real one... but it transitions to SPACE to the last set of characters (goiing quickly though):
11th Pair, Asher & Terlyn (Terlyn)
These two were supposed to be the main pairing of their story but they got shoved aside ; O;, and they had different names before. But I wanted to give them a tribute, because I think their prototypes might have preceded NioCae story, but their actual space story wasn't developed until like a year ago * O*.

At this point the lyrics dont' really have a meaning, but it was a nice transition to thsi space world.
12th Pair, Owen & Ci (Ci)
Same universe as Terlyn... Owen & Ci are the main pairing, and Ci is the protagonist of the whole story.

13th Pair: Kit and Shiv (Both??)
And to make a full circle we come back to present PRESENT "real life" day, with Kit the author and Shiv who is Soren's younger cousin (or sister, idk yet) and also sort of good friends with Kit because of their childhoods? They are just a friendship.

End with whatever Kit's writing.
So basically Kit writes stories, and he also turned his sibling's life histories into stories, HAHA SO COMPLICATE.
If you read this all I wonder why you took the time to read it (and why did I write this all out).
